January 31, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Marut investigated a report of an assault on Old Farmers Road.  Charges were filed against the offender.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of a lost cell phone, a Verizon LG-VX6000.  The phone was lost in NYC.

 

January 30, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Brian Bigham investigated a report of suspicious activity on Naughright Road involving someone allegedly involved in the Realty business.
  • Patrol Officer Madden arrested a 19 year old male resident of Newark for providing false information on a motor vehicle stop.

 

January 29, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Hade investigated a report of a lost or stolen license plate, NJ Registration PCH72U. 
  • Patrol Officer Brian Bigham arrested a 17 year old female resident of Blairstown for DWI on Schooley’s Mountain Road.
  • Corporal McCarthy investigated a report of a custody dispute.  A report was taken and the involved parties were advised the matter was civil in nature.

 

January 28, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Hade investigated a report of an overdose.  The victim was transported to the hospital.

 

January 27, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Rady investigated a report of a bad checks provided to a Long Valley store, and completed a report.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of assault and arrested a juvenile for the incident.

 

January 26, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of annoying phone calls to a Winchester Road residence, and completed a report.
  • Corporal Carvino investigated a report of a harassment at a local school, and charged a juvenile with the offense.

 

January 22, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Marut investigated a report of a lost cell phone, a Samsung Model 670 in the vicinity of Sylvan Circle.

 

January 21, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Marut investigated a report of an abandoned motor vehicle at a Route 46 business, advised the business owner as to the procedure involving abandoned Motor vehicles and completed a report.

 

January 20, 2005

  • Sergeant Compton investigated a report of a violation of a TRO and arrested a 39 year old male resident of Hackettstown for the violation.  The individual was released on $10,000 bail.
  • Patrol Officer Brian Bigham investigated a report of burglary on Beacon Hill Road.  Approximately $350 worth of items were taken.
  • Corporal McCarthy investigated a report of an individual threatening to hurt themselves.  The individual was eventually transported to the hospital for care.

 

January 19, 2005

  • Corporal McCarthy assisted the Morris County Sheriff's Department with the service of a TRO.  The TRO was served and a quantity of weapons and ammunition were secured pursuant to the TRO.
  • Patrol Officer Brian Bigham arrested a 29 year old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ for presenting a fake DL after being stopped.

 

January 17, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of domestic violence and assisted the victim in obtaining a TRO.  Patrol Officer Burns served the TRO on the offender.

 

January 16, 2005

  • Sergeant Bratus investigated a report of a custody dispute and completed a report.
  • Patrol Officer Gilligan investigated a report of an overdose.  The victim was transported to the hospital.

 

January 15, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Falleni investigated a report of harassment with an associated TRO.  Patrol Officer Falleni determined no violation of the order occurred and he completed a report.

 

January 13, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Marut investigated a report of a cell phone lost on a Los Angeles to Newark flight .
  • Patrol Officer Brobst arrested a 20 year old male resident of Long Valley, NJ for DWI and drug possession after the individual struck a telephone pole, breaking it in half.  The individual was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital and released ROR.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of property damage after a Toyota struck a mailbox on Douglas Drive.

 

January 12, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of annoying phone calls and completed a report.
  • Patrol Officer Hade arrested a 20 year old female resident of Budd Lake for DWI and drug possession and a 20 year old male resident of Budd Lake for drug possession on Flocktown Road.  Both were released ROR.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of a vehicle passing a school bus discharging students.
  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of an abandoned motor vehicle on Settler’s Ridge Court.  The property owner was advised to remove the vehicle.
  • Patrol Officer Griffin investigated a report of a vehicle fire on Fawnridge Drive.  The vehicle, a 2002 Jaguar, was destroyed.

 

January 11, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Griffin investigated a report of a disturbance behind a Fawnridge residence.  A thorough investigation revealed the called may have been mistaken.
  • Patrol Officer Madden investigated a report of domestic violence.  Neither party wanted to obtain a TRO, and the circumstances did not warrant an arrest.

 

January 10, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Griffin investigated a report of criminal mischief on Nancy Terrace where a mailbox was damaged.
  • Corporal McCarthy investigated a report of a theft of a BMX bike on Frog Hollow Road. 
  • Sergeant Compton investigated a report of an attempted suicide.  Sergeant Compton assisted in the removal of a number of weapons from the premises.

 

January 9, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Marut investigated a report of domestic violence, and arrested the offender for assault.  Neither party desired a TRO, and the offender was released on $500 bail.
  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of an erratic driver on Nestlingwood Road and determined a 17 year old was operating the vehicle.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of a fraud involving a company called “Freedom Grants” from Florida.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of domestic violence.  Neither of the involved parties desired to obtain a TRO, and the circumstances did not warrant an arrest.  

 

January 8, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Rady investigated a report of domestic violence and terroristic threats.  The investigation produced enough information for the issuance of a warrant for the offender.  None of the involved parties desired a TRO, and the offender was arrested and placed in the Morris County Correctional facility in lieu of $10,000 bail.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of property damage when a tree fell onto a neighbor’s garage on Nestlingwood Drive.
  • Patrol Officer Brobst investigated a report of domestic violence.  Neither party desired to obtain a TRO, and the circumstances did not warrant an arrest.

 

January 7, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Rady investigated a report of a theft e on Tall Timbers Drive where a “large man” stole a bike from a garage.
  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of a lost cell phone, a Verizon LG-4400.

 

January 6, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Falleni investigated a report of harassment at Wimbledon Square.
  • Corporal Pluciniak investigated a report of property damage after a tree limb fell on a car at a Naughright Road residence.
  • Patrol Officer Hade investigated a report of a suspicious package containing an unknown white powder.  The package was secured and turned over to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office for testing.
  • Patrol Officer Griffin investigated a report of property damage after a tree limb fell on a parked Subaru on West Valley Brook Road.
  • Corporal McCarthy investigated a report of threatening messages after a resident received threatening text messages on their cell phone.  The investigation is continuing.

 

January 5, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Hade investigated a report of a possible suicide.  The victim was located and transported to the hospital.
  • Patrol Officer Gilligan investigated a report of domestic violence.  The victim did not want to obtain a TRO and the situation did not warrant an arrest.  The victim was provided with information and references.

 

January 4, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Brobst investigated a report of domestic violence after a verbal argument between husband and wife.  Both parties declined the opportunity to obtain a TRO and an arrest was not warranted. 
  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of vandalism to the Califon soccer field.  Someone drove on the field causing about $1,000 in damage.
  • Detective Corporal Szymanski investigated a report of a bad check being issued to the Washington Township Municipal Court by a 48 year old male resident of Hampton, NJ, and signed a criminal complaint against the man.

 

January 3, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Adam Feichter investigated a report of a vandalism to a Highland Avenue residence after a tenant was evicted.

 

January 2, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of criminal mischief on Naughright Road where a window was broken.
  • Corporal Barnes investigated a report of criminal mischief at a Ramsey Way residence where a porch lamp was broken.

 

January 1, 2005

  • Patrol Officer Burns investigated a report of property damage after a vehicle rolled from a parking spot and struck several objects and another vehicle.
  • Corporal Barnes investigated a report of an individual trespassing on Fairmount Road.
  • Patrol Officer Brobst investigated a report of a lod party at Wimbledon Square.  Officer Brobst convinces the participants to quiet down.
