March 1, 2008 Sergeant Bratus arrested a 29-year-old female resident of Budd Lake, NJ on an active warrant out of Mount Olive, NJ Municipal Court. Subject posted bail and was released. March 2, 2008 Patrol Officer Rooney arrested a 38-year-old male resident of Red Bank, NJ and a 39-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ on Disorderly Conduct on Schooley’s Mountain Road. Subjects were released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court March 4, 2008 Patrol Officer Brobst arrested a 61-year-old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ for Simple Assault, and was released on his own recognizance with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 5, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 45-year-old male resident of Roxbury NJ. on an active warrant out of Jefferson Township, NJ Municipal Court. Subject was able to post, bail and was released. March 6, 2008 Patrol Officer Seabeck arrested a 15-year-old female resident of Long Valley, NJ. was charged with Criminal Mischief, Aggravated Assault and Resisting Arrest. Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 72-year-old male resident of Hackettstown NJ. for DWI, The defendant was additionally charged with Reckless Driving He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 8, 2008 Corporal McCarthy i nvestigated a report of Theft and Vandalism on Reservoir Road logging construction site of Washington Township owned property. The victim advised unknown actor(s) entered his parked logging skidder sometime between 03/08/2008 @ 4PM to 03/09/2008 6 PM, cut a bungee cord securing a fire extinguisher and used the extinguisher to spray retardant inside of the radiator unit the retardant damages the skidder engine by causing it to overheat. The victim alleges he observed three (3) quads in the area of woods near the skidder and that fire extinguisher was stolen. Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 43-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ for DWI, on Wehrli Road who was also involved in a motor vehicle accident ( Investigated by PO. Lee) on Schooley's Mountain Road and E. Mill Road, Long Valley. The defendant was additionally charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to Keep Right, Failure to report accident and Leaving the scene of an accident. He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 9, 2008 The Washington Township Police investigated a report of (12) Trees, Wires or Poles that fell down due to bad weather over the weekend of 3/9/2008-3/11/2008. Patrol Officer Hade arrested a 44-year-old female resident of Long Valley NJ for Simple Assault and was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 10, 2008 Patrol Officer Feichter arrested an 18-year-old male resident of Washington, NJ on theft of a credit card and fraudulent use of a credit card and Possession of Marijuana - under 50 grams. He was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of not posting bail March 11, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 24-year-old female resident of Belvidere, NJ on an active warrant out of Rockaway Borough, NJ Municipal Court. She was also issued summons for driving while suspended. Subject was released to Rockaway Borough Police with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 14, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 44-year-old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ on an active warrant out of Woodbridge, NJ Municipal Court. Subject posted bail and was released. March 15, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers Investigated a report of noise complaint (Barking Dog) on Sun Valley Way Long Valley NJ. Patrol Officer Wright Investigated a report of noise complaint (Fire Works) on Yorkshire Dr. Long Valley NJ. Sergeant Bratus investigated a report of damage to a vehicle parked at Midas on Route 46, Hackettstown NJ a dent in the hood, which had obviously been made from inside the engine compartment. March 16, 2008 Corporal Marut Investigated a report of vandalism on Indian Run Road Long Valley, NJ. An unknown actor(s) had pushed over the resident’s mailbox and post during the night. Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 30-year-old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ for DWI, who was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Route 46 in Hackettstown. The defendant was additionally charged with Failure to Keep Right, Reckless Driving, Leaving Scene of Accident and Failure to Report Accident. He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 17, 2008 Patrol Officer Cecere Investigated a report of loud noise complaint on West Mill Road Long Valley NJ. A neighbor was playing a guitar and singing too loud and subsequently agreed to stop playing and singing for the night. March 20, 2008 Patrol Officer Wright arrested a 43-year-old female resident of Wharton NJ. on an active warrant out of Dover Township, NJ Municipal Court. She posted bail and was released. She was the occupant of a car where the driver was issued two summons, suspended driver's license, and unlicensed driver he was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 21, 2008 Patrol Officer Lee arrested a 21-year-old male resident of East Stroudsburg, PA on active warrants from several jurisdictions. He was transported to the Warren County Correctional Facility on a no bail warrant issued by the Warren County Prosecutors Office. March 23, 2008 Patrol Officer Brobst arrested a 39-year-old male resident of Reading PA on an active warrant out of Hudson County Sheriff’s Department, Jersey City, Hillsdale and East Brunswick totaling $2,263. Additionally charged with driving with a suspended drivers license. He was turned over to Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 37-year-old male resident of East Orange NJ on possession of a pipe containing the residue of crack cocaine and two fraudulent Rhode Island Drivers Licenses. He was also charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, hindering apprehension and two counts of possession of false documents. The suspect also had an active warrant from Hudson County Sheriff’s Office and a $850 warrant from Jersey City. He was also issued motor vehicle summons for riding on parts not intended. Washington Township Municipal Court Judge Frank Leanza set bail at $10,000 no ten percent option. He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility. March 24, 2008 Patrol Officer Wright Investigated a report of juveniles on skateboards at the Long Valley Plaza Property, all juveniles moved on. Patrol Officer Lee Investigated a report of a natural gas leak on Chestnut Street, Long Valley the home owner hearing a loud hissing noise coming from the outside of his residence and determined the noise to be a natural gas leak coming from under his back deck. The Long Valley Fire Company arrived on scene and were able to shut off the gas prior to the leak. Elizabethtown Gas Company was notified Patrol Officer Cecere Investigated a report of loud noise complaint on Knob Hill Road Hackettstown NJ. Kids playing on playground after dark and all juveniles went home. Patrol Officer Myers Investigated a report of property damage on Flocktown Road Long Valley, NJ of a barn/shed roof that had been blown off of the rest of the barn/shed. The owner was getting food to feed his cow, he felt and heard everything begin to shake, and then heard a large gust of wind and a loud bang, he emerged from the small barn/shed he was in to find the that the roof of the other barn/shed had been completely removed by the wind. The neighbor found a large piece of sheet-metal roofing in his tree. Schooley's Mountain Fire Company and the Budd Lake Fire Department responded and using the Budd Lake Fire Department's extension ladder, were able to knock the large piece of sheet-metal roofing from the tree. March 25, 2008 The Washington Township Police investigated a report of (17) motor vehicle accidents 3/9/2008-3/25/2008. Patrol Officer Bigham Investigated a report of vandalism on Beacon Hill Road Long Valley, NJ where the owner who advised his mailbox had been smashed sometime last evening on 03/24/08 between the hours of 9 PM hours and 7 AM the next morning. All information will be held confidential. March 26, 2008 Patrol Officer Rooney arrested a 50-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ for DWI on East Mill Road Long Valley, NJ. The defendant was additionally charged with a suspended driver's license, Failure to Keep Right, Reckless Driving and hindering apprehension he was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. Corporal Allen arrested an 18-year-old male resident of Budd Lake, NJ was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking. The theft valued at less then $200.00. He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 28, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 46-year-old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ on active warrant out of Washington Township, NJ Municipal Court. He was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of not posting bail March 29, 2008 Patrol Officer Garrison Investigated a report of a C/O Detector Activation on Hickory Lane Long Valley, NJ. Schooley’s Mountain Fire investigated and found the furnace caused a high carbon monoxide reading. Patrol Officer Hade arrested a 46-year-old male resident of Califon, NJ on Possession of CDS Under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was additionally charged with Motor Vehicle Summons for Unregistered Vehicle Subject was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. March 30, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 41-year-old female resident of Hackettstown, NJ on an active warrant out of Hackettstown, NJ Municipal Court. She was also issued summons for driving Driving without a license/expired license. Subject was released to Hackettstown Police with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. Patrol Officer Garrison arrested a 23-year-old male resident of Raritan, NJ for DWI on Schooley's Mountain Road Long Valley, NJ. The defendant was additionally charged with Failure to dim headlamps, Failure to keep right and Failure to inspect vehicle, he was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court.
