Explanation of abbreviations are located at the bottom of the page. April 1, 2008 Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 22-year-old male resident of N. Piscataway NJ. on an active warrant out of Branchburg Township, NJ Municipal Court. Subject posted bail and was released. Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 38-year-old male resident of Milford, PA on an active warrant out of Byram Township Municipal Court totaling $649.00. He was also issued summons for driving while suspended and for operating a commercial vehicle while his privileges to operate a commercial vehicle were suspended. He was unable to post bail and was taken into custody and turned over to Byram Township Police. Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 34-year-old male resident of E. Orange, NJ on an active warrants out of Monmouth County Sheriff's Office and out of Old Bridge Township, NJ. The subject was released to the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office. Patrol Officer Hade arrested a 46-year-old male resident of Califon, NJ charged with Possession of CDS Under 50 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was also charged with traffic summons Unregistered Vehicle and given a Municipal Court date. The defendant was released. April 3, 2008 Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 22-year-old male resident of Piscataway, NJ on an active warrant out of Branchburg Township, NJ Municipal Court. Subject posted bail and was released. April 4, 2008 Sergeant Madden arrested a 47-year-old male resident of Mount Bethel, PA on an active warrants out of Hackettstown in the amount of $ 900.00, and Washington Township, in the amount of $ 500.00. Subject was unable to post the required bail, and was turned over to the Hackettstown Police Department. Corporal Burns investigated a report of vehicle vandalism on West Valleybrook Road Long Valley, NJ victim advised that an unknown person or persons had written on his vehicle. The damage occurred on April 3rd between the hours of 2 PM and 6 PM. Anyone who can provide information related to this incident should contact tips@wtpdmorris.org. Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 21-year-old male resident of Jersey City, NJ on an active warrants out of Jersey City in the amount of $5,000, Union City in the amount of the amount of $185.00 and out of Edison in the amount of $90.00. He was unable to post bail. He was transported to Morris County Jail. Subject was also issued motor vehicle summons for driving while suspended. The owner of the vehicle was issued summons for having unclear plates and for failure to inspect. April 5, 2008 Corporal Burns arrested a 38-year-old male resident of Phillipsburg, NJ on an active warrant out of North Hunterdon Municipal Court in the amount of $296.00. Subject was also issued motor vehicle summons for Driving while Suspended and Expired Registration. Subject posted bail and was released. April 6, 2008 Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 34-year-old male resident of E. Orange, NJ on an active warrants out of Washington Township (Morris County) Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.00 and a $500.00 warrant out of Mansfield Township (Warren County) Municipal Court. The subject was transported to Morris County Correctional Facility. Corporal McCarthy arrested an 18-year-old male resident of Lebanon, NJ charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was also charged with traffic summons for Possession of CDS in a Motor Vehicle and given a Municipal Court date. The defendant was released without further incident. Also arrested was a 17-year-old female juvenile charged with Possession of Under 50 Grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug and referred to the Hunterdon County Family Court. The defendant was released to her parents. April 8, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 41-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ c harging him with Simple Assault and Criminal Mischief. Subject was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. April 9, 2008 Patrol Officer Cecere arrested a 34-year-old male resident of Newark, NJ. for exhibiting a fake I.D. and hindering his own apprehension he was also issued motor vehicle summons for his Passenger Riding on Parts Not Intended and for Driving While Suspended. Subject was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. April 11, 2008 Patrol Officer Myers arrested a 15 year old male resident of Long Valley, NJ charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams, Possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of fireworks. The teen was released to his parents, pending a juvenile court appearance. April 12, 2008 Corporal Oranchak arrested a 24-year-old female resident of Mendham, NJ for DWI on East Mill Road, Long Valley. The defendant was additionally charged with Talking on the Cell Phone while driving. She was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. April 13, 2008 Patrol Officer Wright arrested a 15-year-old male Juvenile of Long Valley, NJ. charged with Simple Assault. The teen was released to his parents, pending a juvenile court appearance. Patrol Officer Rooney arrested an 18-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ. charged with Possession of CDS, Possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. April 14, 2008 Patrol Officer Wright investigated a report of mailbox vandalism on Flintlock Drive, Long Valley, NJ victim stated on 04/11/08 at approximately 09:00 hours she noticed her mailbox was vandalized.. April 17, 2008 Patrol Officer Falleni arrested a 26-year-old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ on an active warrant out of Morris County Prosecutors Office. The Subject was released to the Morris County Sheriff's Office. Patrol Officer Seabeck arrested a 24-year-old male resident of Swartswood, NJ on an active warrant out of Sussex County Sheriffs Office. The Subject was released to the Sussex County Sheriffs Office. April 18, 2008 Patrol Officer Lee investigated a report of a vehicle fire on Schooley's Mountain Road Long Valley, NJ. The fire was coming from under the vehicle between the firewall and exhaust. Flames began to spread up the firewall and to the interior of the vehicle. Schooley's Mountain Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire. Patrol Officer Feichter investigated a report of noise complaint on Wellington Drive Long Valley, NJ. Det. Gilligan arrested an 11-year-old male Juvenile of Oldwick, NJ. charging him with Harassment. The teen was released to his parents, pending a juvenile court appearance. Corporal Burns arrested a 42 year old male resident of Long Valley, NJ on three active warrants out of Roxbury Twp Municipal Court for $1,500.00 no 10%, Roxbury Twp for $1000.00 no 10% and Hopatcong Boro Municipal Court for $177.00. He was transported to Roxbury Township Police Headquarters and turned over to their custody. Patrol Officer Brobst arrested a 46-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ for DWI, being involved in a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries on Sierra Drive near the intersection of West Valleybrook Road, Califon, NJ. He was issued the Summonses: for Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane and for Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle. He was released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. Sergeant Szymanski arrested a 19-year-old male resident of Long Valley, NJ charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was an 18-year-old male resident of Budd Lake, NJ charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were released with a mandatory court date in Washington Township Municipal Court. April 20, 2008 Patrol Officer Cecere investigated a report of trespassing complaint on Pheasant Dr. Long Valley, NJ. The victim advised a known person came on to her property without permission and located a goose nest containing five goose eggs. He then threw fireworks at the mother and father geese forcing them to leave the nest and smashed the eggs with a large stick. The investigation was turned over to the New Jersey Division of Fish
