Welcome to the Washington Township Police Department Website. The Website is designed to meet the changing needs of our residents and community. The goal of the site is to be informative and interactive.

Information and feedback from the community should be free flowing to keep the site current. Our Technical Staff maintains the site on a regular basis in an attempt to inform the public about police department issues and incidents. The Police Department intends to further enhance community policing initiatives, continue to build better relationships with our community, especially the youth and senior citizens of this community.

The Washington Township Police Department was established in 1964 and from those humble beginnings the Washington Township Police Department has developed into a modern, efficient, highly trained Police Department.

The department has invested in technology and officer training that enhances the professionalism of the department. The culture of the Washington Township Police Department is one where a belief in service and community interaction existed long before Community Policing became vogue.

This department is committed to providing excellent service that produces a safe environment for the community.
