To Apply for a position with the Washington Township Police Department, the applicant must meet the following criteria. The applicant must:

• Be a United States Citizen.
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Be of good moral character.
• Be between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five.
• Must not have been convicted of a crime.
• Must possess a valid New Jersey State Drivers License.
• Must have been awarded at least an Associates Degree or have completed at least ninety credits towards a degree in the following areas

  • Police Administration
  • Public Administration
  • Criminology
  • Communications
  • Business
  • Computer Science
  • Sociology
  • Law
