Douglas Compton

Sergeant Compton graduated from the Morris County Firefighters and Police Academy in December 1994 and was assigned to the Patrol Division. From 1997 until 2000, Sergeant Compton was assigned to the DARE Unit.

Doug was promoted in June of 2002 to Sergeant and assigned as a patrol supervisor.

Sergeant Comptons current responsibilities include Field Training Coordinator, WTPD Recruitment Officer, Physical Training Instructor at the Morris County firefighters and Police Academy, Certified Child Seat Technician, and M.E.B. Instructor. Sergeant Compton received an AA Degree in Criminal Justice from County College of Morris, a BS Degree in Criminal Justice from Thomas Edison State College and a MS Degree in Leadership and Public Administration from Centenary College.
