Patrick Monahan

Lieutenant Monahan joined the police department in 1981 as a Special Police Officer. In 1984, he was appointed as a full-time Police Officer and graduated from the Morris County Police Academy.

While a Patrol Officer, he served in both the Patrol and Traffic Divisions. In 1998, Lieutenant Monahan was promoted to Sergeant and served as a Patrol Shift Supervisor. In 2002 Pat was promoted to Lieutenant and has since served as a Division Commander in Administration and Support Services. Currently, he is in charge of the Patrol Division.

Lieutenant Monahan also received a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
