Oranchak

Officer
Oranchak began his career with the department in January of 1999
and has served on the Patrol Division since his appointment.
In May 2002, he was assigned as one of the departments Field Training
Officers. In September 2003 he was appointed to the Detective Bureau.
Officer Oranchak was assigned for several years to the Support Services
Unit where he taught DARE and organized community programs.
Corporal Oranchak was promoted to Corporal in November 2006, and was assigned to the Patrol Division.
Officer Orancahk also serves as a Physical Training and Monadnock Expandable Baton (M.E.B.)
Instructor, and is certified as a Bike Patrol Officer, Child Safety
Seat Technician and a Drug Recognition Expert.
In addition, Officer Oranchak is pursuing a Masters Degree in Leadership
and Public Administration from Centenary College.
