On June 20, 2011 road construction will begin in Washington Township.
Three major roadways will be effected (Wehrli Road, Flocktown Road & Parker Road). The first roadway that will be repaired then resurfaced will be Wehrli Road from West Springtown Road to the area of #60 Wehrli Road.
It is anticipated during this time that Wehrli Road will be closed for two or three days and only residents will be allowed to travel Wehrli Road during the closure. A police officer will be stationed at both closures during the construction.
Flocktown Road from Warwick Drive to Drakestown Road will be the next roadway also repaired then resurfaced. The roadway will remain open during construction hours to all vehicles.
The last roadway to be repaired and resurfaced will be Parker Road from the area of East Fox Hill Road to Fairmount Road (Ct 517). This roadway will also remain open during construction hours.
Motorists should plan an alternate route and expect large amounts of congestion in these areas of construction. All three projects are being completed by Tilcon Construction – 625 Mt. Hope Road Wharton, NJ. The construction hours will be 7:30 AM and end at 4:30 PM
