Police Expo at the Townsquare Mall

The Fourth Annual Police Expo at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall was held over the weekend of April 22 2006. The annual show was hosted this year by the Morris County Park Police and the Rockaway Township Police Department. The expo showcased the various programs and approaches of the participating thirty-eight law enforcement agencies, who were primarily from Morris County.

A rainy weekend filled the mall where technologies used by federal agencies, live demonstrations, assorted police equipment, and vehicles were displayed. Additionally, the exposition allowed local police to highlight their approach to law enforcement specific to their community or area of responsibility.

Washington Township Officers Sergeant First Class Brader and Detective Madden distributed free gun locks to interested parties, and displayed an information board showcasing some of the equipment and facilities used by the agency.
