Crash on West Mill Road is Fatal

Califon, NJ man was sole occupant of vehicle.

A 31 year old male resident of Califon, NJ was killed when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed over the double yellow lines of West Mill Road on July 30th and struck a utility pole.

The victim suffered a head injury and was pronounced at the scene by paramedics from Hackettstown Community Hospital. Police were assisted by the Long Valley First Aid Squad and the Long Valley Fire Company.

Patrol Officer Feichter is investigating the accident with the assistance of the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.
