The Washington Township Health Department , in association with the Washington Township Police Department, will be hosting an Operation Take Back New Jersey local collection site as part of a medicine disposal day. All area residents are invited to participate.

You may dispose of your unwanted, out of date, or unneeded medications at the Washington Township Police Headquarters, located at 1 E Springtown Road, Long Valley, NJ between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

Sharps will not be accepted. This initiative was organized to encourage local community residents to properly dispose of their unused, unwanted and expired medicine to keep both their households and the environment safe.
