Schooley's Mountain Road Accident Delays Commuters

An early evening accident delayed homebound commuters on "Big Turn" on Schooley's Mountain Road, just west of the Washington Township Municipal Building. A 55 year of female resident of Middlesworth Road was traveling North on Schooley's Mountain Road and became stuck on the wet pavement. The driver backed down the turn, left the road and struck a vehicle operated by a 47 year old male resident of Ledgewood.

The driver of the second vehicle was treated and released from the scene. The operator of the vehicle that backed down the hill received several summonses, including summonses for careless driving and unlicensed driver.
