Evening Accident Injures Five

Naughright & Flocktown Intersection

October 17 , 2006
An early evening accident injured all five individuals involved in an early evening accident. Police left the scene of an earlier accident on Schooley's Mountain Road to respond to the three vehicle accident at Naughright & Flocktown.

An 18 year old male resident of Ann Road was traveling west on Flocktown Road in a 2001 Saturn and failed to yield to a southbound Nissan 2005 pickup operated by a 43 year old male resident of Woodland Drive. The vehicles collided and the Saturn was diverted into the brush and trees on the south west corner of the intersection. The Nissan pickup was diverted into a 2003 Toyota Highlander, operated by a 37 year old female resident of Winding Hill Drive, that was stopped and waiting at the intersection.

The occupants of the Saturn were transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital; the other injured parties were transported to Hackettstown Community Hospital. The Saturn driver was issued several summonses.
