BURGLARY
A
West Mill Road resident reported on 911 that an individual was attempting to break into their residence through the back door.  Sergeant Adams, Corporal Carvino and Patrol Officer Allen responded to the scene to apprehend the individual and initiate an investigation.

The individual was not at the premises upon the officer’s arrival.  Morris County Sheriff's Office Canine Unit responded to assist in the investigation.  Patrol Officer Allen, with the assistance of Sheriff's Officer Perez and Morris County Sheriff’s Office Detective Warnett, apprehended the individual, a 51 year old male resident of Califon, NJ. 

The individual was transported to Headquarters where he was arrested, charged with Attempted Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest and Injury to a Law Enforcement Animal, and processed.  Municipal Judge Lanza set bail at $7,500.  A family member posted the bail and the individual was released to a family member.

PATROL ARREST
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 26 year old male resident of Pittstown, NJ on a $183.00 contempt of court warrant.  The individual posted the bail and was released in his own recognizance pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST
Sergeant Compton arrested a 20 year old male resident of Wayne, NJ for several contempt of court warrants, and summonsed the individual for Driving a Motor Vehicle while Suspended, after stopping the individual for a motor vehicle violation on Schooley’s
Mountain Road.  The individual was transported to police Headquarters for processing and released on $363.00 bail.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
An East Avenue resident requested a Patrol Officer come to their premises so a report would be made regarding an incident that occurred in August.  Patrol Officer Madden responded to initiate an investigation.

Patrol Officer Madden determined that a dispute arose over financial responsibility stemming from property damaged in August.  Patrol Officer Madden reported the involved parties will continue the matter civilly.

PATROL ARREST
Patrol Officer Leonardi arrested a 42 year old male resident of Dunellen, NJ on a $500.00 contempt of court warrant, after stopping the individual for a motor vehicle violation on
Naughright Road.  The individual was unable to post the bail and was transported to police Headquarters for processing and released to Tewksbury Township.

IDENTITY THEFT
An East Valley Brook Road resident reported that purchases were made in a family member’s name.  The resident indicated that the purchases, including the purchase of a motor vehicle were not made by the family member. 

Patrol Officer Brobst initiated an investigation and referred the investigation to the Detective Bureau for continuation.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Allen, assisted by Sergeant Adams, arrested a 32 year old female resident of
Long Valley for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in the center of Long Valley, after the individual was involved in a motor vehicle accident.  The vehicle was impounded in accordance with “John’s Law” and the individual was transported to police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing.

The individual was additionally charged with Careless Driving, and was released to a responsible party.

PATROL ARREST
Patrol Officer Rady arrested a 34 year old female resident of Long Valley, NJ on a $195.00 contempt of court warrant on
East Springtown Road.  The individual posted the bail and was released in her own recognizance pending adjudication

MISSING JUVENILE
An Indian Run Road resident reported on 911 that their young child was missing.  Captain Gundersdorf, Lieutenant Bailey, Detective Sergeant Pellegrino, Sergeant Niemynski, Sergeant Bratus, Corporal Micco, Patrol Officer Burns and Communications Officer Ghetti responded and initiated a search and investigation.  The Morris County Sheriff's Office Canine Unit responded to assist in the investigation.

Lieutenant Bailey located the child and returned the child to her parent.

A Trafalgar Court resident reported that their house was struck by eggs.  Patrol Officer Falleni initiated an investigation

PATROL ARREST (Possession of CDS)
Patrol Officer Wallenstein, arrested a 36 year old male resident of East Hanover and a 36 year old male resident of Flanders for Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and summonsed both individuals for possession of an open container of alcohol a motor vehicle on Flocktown Road, after the individual was stopped for a motor vehicle violation. 

Both individuals were transported to police Headquarters for processing.  Both individuals were released in their own recognizance pending a court appearance.

PATROL ARREST (Possession of CDS)
Patrol Officer Wurtemberg arrested a juvenile male resident of Hackettstown, for possession of marijuana, a controlled dangerous substance (CDS).

The juvenile was released to a family member pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST (Possession of CDS)
Patrol Officer Wallenstein arrested a 36 year old male resident of East Hanover and a 36 year old male resident of Flanders on Flocktown Road, for possession of marijuana, a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle,  after the vehicle they were traveling in was stopped for an equipment violation.

Both individuals were transported to Headquarters, processed and released in their own recognizance (ROR).
