PATROL ARREST (False Information to Police)
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 34 year old male resident of Hackettstown for Providing False Documents to a Police Officer and Providing False Information to Police, both disorderly persons offenses, after being stopped for speeding on
Naughright Road.  The defendant produced a foreign driver’s license and stated it was his license. 

Investigation revealed the drivers true identity.  The driver was arrested, transported to Headquarters, processed and released pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Wallenstein, assisted by Corporal Carvino and Sergeant Adams, arrested a 26 year old male resident of Washington Township for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and leaving the scene of an accident on Naughright Road.  Patrol Officer Wallenstein determined the location of the operator and that the operator’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a traffic warning sign and some large rocks.  The defendant was transported to police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing.

The driver was additionally charged with careless driving, and failure to report an accident.  The subject was released to a responsible party.

PATROL ARREST (Violation of a FRO)
Patrol Officer Leonardi, assisted by Sergeants Bratus, charged a 66 year old male resident of Budd Lake, NJ for violation of a Final Restraining Order (FRO).  An arrest warrant was issued for the defendant.   The defendant was arrested later that day by Sergeant Adams, assisted by Patrol Officer Wallenstein.  The defendant was transported to police Headquarters for processing, and was released on $5,000 bail pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST (Domestic Violence Simple Assault)
Patrol Officer Brobst, assisted by Sergeants Compton, arrested a 45 year old male resident of Long Valley, NJ for committing an act of Domestic Violence.  The defendant was transported to police Headquarters for processing, and was released in his own recognizance (ROR) on $2,500 bail pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Sergeant Bratus, assisted by Patrol Officer Falleni, arrested a 34 year old female resident of
Long Valley for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on West Mill Road.  The vehicle was impounded in accordance with “Johns Law” and the defendant was transported to police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing

The driver was additionally charged with reckless driving, and driving without headlamps during times required.  The subject was released to a responsible party.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Bigham, assisted by Patrol Officer Madden, arrested a 30 year old male resident of
Gladstone, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI on Naughright Road.  The defendant was transported to police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing.  The defendant refused to take the breathalyzer test and was additionally charged with refusal to supply a breath sample. 

The driver was released to a responsible party.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
A resident of
Ascot Drive reported that their mailbox was damaged.  Corporal Szymanski responded and initiated an investigation.  Corporal Szymanski determined the mailbox was snapped off the supporting post.
