PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 23 year old male resident of
Jersey City, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by Washington Township Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $500.  The individual was unable to post bail and was committed to the Morris County Jail.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Gilligan arrested a 22 year old male resident of
Budd Lake, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by Mount Olive Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $500.  The individual was unable to post bail and was turned over the Morris County Mount Olive Police Department.

Sergeant Adams arrested a 52 year old male resident of
Hackettstown, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by Washington Township Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $500.  The individual was unable to post bail and was committed to the Morris County Jail.

A resident of
Mission Road reported that their mailbox was damaged.  Patrol Officer Bigham responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Bigham determined the mailbox was knocked off the supporting post.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
A resident of
Old Turnpike Road reported that their mailbox was damaged.  Patrol Officer Burns responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Burns determined the mailbox was smashed in around 11:00PM the night before.

Mission Road reported that their mailbox was damaged.  Patrol Officer Burns responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Burns determined the mailbox was smashed in around 2:00 AM.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of Quail Run reported that their vehicles were vandalized by being soaped.  Patrol Officer Leonardi responded and initiated an investigation.  .  Patrol Officer Leonardi determined there was no damage to the vehicles, and inappropriate words were written on the vehicles.

PROPERTY DAMAGE
A resident of
Drakestown Road reported that their mailbox was damaged.  Sergeant First Class Brader responded and initiated an investigation.  Sergeant First Class Brader determined the mailbox, and the mailbox next door were damaged.  The investigation is continuing.

THEFT
A Flintlock Drive resident reported that Halloween decorations removed from the front lawn.  Patrol Officer Leonardi responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Leonardi determined a scarecrow, decorative pumpkin and a cat were removed from the front lawn.  The investigation is continuing.

THEFT
A Fawnridge Drive resident reported that Halloween decorations removed from the front lawn.  Patrol Officer Allen responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Allen determined an eight foot inflatable pumpkin, several replica tombstones and a five foot tall scarecrow were removed from the front lawn.  The investigation is continuing.

MV FIRE
A passing motorist reported a truck on fire at the rear of a Newburgh Road business.  The
Schooley's Mountain Fire Protection Association, and the Long Valley Fire Department and the assistance of the Long Valley First Aid Squad responded to the scene

Patrol Officer Falleni responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Falleni was assisted by Sergeant Adams, and Detective Sergeant Pellegrino in the investigation.  The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office responded because the fire occurred at a business.  The investigation determined the origin of the fire was a malfunction of the truck’s electrical system.

Patrol Officer Burns arrested a 22 year old male resident of
Vernon, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by Washington Township Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $1,000.  The individual was unable to post bail and was committed to the Morris County Jail.

PATROL ARREST (False Information to Police)
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 34 year old male resident of Hackettstown for Providing False Documents to a Police Officer and Providing False Information to Police, both disorderly persons offenses, after being stopped for speeding on
Naughright Road.  The defendant produced a foreign driver’s license and stated it was his license. 

Investigation revealed the drivers true identity.  The driver was arrested, transported to Headquarters, processed and released pending adjudication.
