PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Falleni arrested a 21 year old male resident of
Budd Lake, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Mine Hill Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $351.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and released on bail pending adjudication.

TRESPASS/CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
While on Patrol, Sergeant Almer observed a suspicious vehicle and initiated an investigation.

Sergeant Almer determined an 18 year old male from Roselle, NJ drove on the property to the rear of the West Mill Road Middle School.  Sergeant Almer determined, in addition to the damage to the Middle School fields, there was damage to agricultural plantings.  The school Superintendent, Dr. Gerald Vernotica, and nursery owner was contacted.  The vehicle was removed, and the driver was charged with trespass and careless driving on agricultural property.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Patrol Officer Allen, assisted by Sergeant Bratus and Corporal Pluciniak, investigated a possible violation of a Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) after a resident called the Communications Center. 

Patrol Officer Allen initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was required, as a violation of the order did occur.  Mount Olive Municipal Court Judge Maenza was contacted, and the Judge found probable cause to issue an arrest warrant.  Patrol Officer Allen and Corporal Pluciniak, located and arrested the defendant.  The individual was transported to Headquarters for processing. 

A Morris County Superior Court Judge was contacted and bail was set at $10,000 with a 10% option. The defendant was unable to post bail, and was transported to the Morris County Correctional facility.  Officer Allen additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Patrol Officers Madden investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after a resident dialed 911. 

Patrol Officer Madden initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required. 

The involved parties were advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order (TRO).  The individuals involved declined to obtain a TRO.  Patrol Officer Madden additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Patrol Officers Falleni, assisted by Corporal Carvino and Patrol Officer Madden, investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after an individual came to Headquarters.. 

Patrol Officer Falleni initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  The individual was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order (TRO).

Patrol Officer Falleni assisted the individual in obtaining a temporary restraining order.  A Crisis Response Team (CRT) member responded, but the victim declined.  Patrol Officer Falleni additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

FRAUD (Identity Theft)
A
North Four Bridges Road resident reported that they were the victim of an identity theft.  Patrol Officer Gilligan initiated an investigation and determined the validity of the resident’s complaint and facts.  The resident was advised as to the action available to them.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Bigham, assisted by Corporal Barnes, arrested a 45 year old male resident of
Washington Township for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on West Mill Road.  The vehicle was impounded in accordance with “Johns Law” and the defendant was transported to police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing

The driver was additionally charged with reckless driving, and failure to keep right.  The subject was released to a responsible party

CIVIL MATTER
An East Mill Road resident requested assistance with obtaining a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO).  Patrol Officer Burns responded to initiate an investigation.  Patrol Officer Burns determined the incident was not a violation of the Domestic Violence Act, but was a landlord-tenant civil matter.

Patrol Officer Burns completed a report memorializing the details of the incident.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Patrol Officer Oranchak investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after an individual came to Headquarters.. 

Patrol Officer Oranchak initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  The individual was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and was advised to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order at the Morris County Superior Court Family Part, in accordance with Morris County Superior Court guidelines. 

Patrol Officer Oranchak additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and Morris County Superior Court.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Rady arrested a 21 year old male resident of Long Valley, NJ on a contempt of court warrants issued by the Washington Township Municipal Court and the Washington Boro Municipal Court (Warren County).  Bail on the warrant was set at $700.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and released on bail pending adjudication.

Patrol Officer Burns, assisted by Corporal Barnes, investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after a resident came to Headquarters. 

Patrol Officer Burns initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  The victim was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order (TRO). 

Patrol Officer Burns assisted the victim in obtaining a temporary restraining order.  Washington Township Municipal Court Judge Leanza issued a TRO.  Patrol Officer Burns and Corporal Barnes served the TRO on the offender, and additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

DRUG ARREST
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a male resident, age 24, of Union City, NJ for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of Paraphernalia, on Route 46, after the individual was arrested on a no bail warrant issued by the Union City Municipal Court.

The individual was transported to police Headquarters, processed and transported to the Morris County Correctional facility.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Falleni assisted the Hackettstown Police Department in the arrest of a 30 year old male resident of Mansfield, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on Route 57 in Hackettstown after a passerby reported a vehicle traveling erratically on East Avenue. 

Patrol Officer Falleni located the vehicle at the end of East Avenue, stopped the vehicle and determined the operator was intoxicated.

Patrol Officer Falleni turned the matter over to the Hackettstown Police.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Bigham arrested a 23 year old male resident of
Piscataway, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the New Brunswick Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $250.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and released on bail pending adjudication.  The individual was also summonsed for driving while his license was suspended.

Patrol Officer Burns initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  The individual was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order(TRO).  The victim was provided with an opportunity to speak with a Crisis Response Team (CRT) member and declined.

Patrol Officer Burns assisted the individual in obtaining a temporary restraining order.  Washington Township Municipal Court Judge Leanza was contacted, and the Judge found probable cause to issue a TRO. Patrol Officer Burns and  Corporal Barnes served the restraining order on the other individual.  Officer Burns additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Burns arrested a 42 year old male resident of
Washington Township at his home on a domestic violence assault warrant resulting from an incident occurring in Mount Olive.  Initial domestic violence warrants have no bail amount assigned.  The individual was immediately turned over to the Mount Olive Police Department.

Patrol Officer Brobst, assisted by Patrol Officer Wurtemberg, investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after a resident called 911.

Patrol Officer Brobst initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  The victim was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order (TRO). 

The victim declined a TRO. Patrol Officer Brobst additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Wurtemberg arrested a 29 year old male resident of Montville, NJ on a contempt of court warrants issued by the Jefferson Township and Parsippany Township Municipal Courts, after stopping the individual for operating an unregistered vehicle.  Bail on the warrants totaled $282.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and released on bail pending adjudication.
