CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of
North Mount Lebanon Road reported that their 1994 Toyota pickup was damaged at in front of their residence.  Patrol Officer Oranchak responded and initiated an investigation.  .  Patrol Officer Oranchak determined the windshield, the driver’s side window and the driver’s side rear window were deliberately broken.

ASSAULT
Patrol Officer Bigham investigated a report of an assault after an individual called Headquarters to report a family dispute.

Patrol Officer Bigham initiated an investigation and determined that two family members entered into a disagreement.  Patrol Officer Bigham advised the victim of the procedure to sign a complaint against the offender.

HARASSMENT
An employee of the Long Valley Pub called to report that they were harassed by an individual.  Patrol Officer Oranchak initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Oranchak, with the assistance of Sergeant Compton, identified and spoke with the individual.  Patrol Officer Oranchak advised the complainant what options were available, and the procedures involved, to sign a complaint.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Patrol Officers Bigham investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after a resident came to Headquarters. 

Patrol Officer Bigham initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required. 

The individual was advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order( TRO).  The individual declined the opportunity to obtain a TRO.  Patrol Officer Bigham additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office

Corporal Szymanski investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after a resident called Headquarters. 

Corporal Szymanski initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was not required.  Both individuals were advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order (TRO).  Both individuals declined to obtain a TRO Corporal Szymanski additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.

DISPUTE
A Route 46 business called on 911 to report a problem with a customer.  Patrol Officer Bigham responded to initiate an investigation.  Patrol Officer Bigham determined the disagreement was verbal.  The customer and the business came to an agreement, and indicated their only interest was in having the event documented.

Corporal Carvino assisted a Naughright Road resident in filing a report for a lost wallet.

TRESPASS
A Kings Highway resident called to report an individual regularly enters their property without permission.  Patrol Officer Hade responded to initiate an investigation.

The individual was not on the property upon the arrival of Patrol Officer Hade.    Patrol Officer Hade advised the victim of the procedure to sign a complaint against the offender for criminal trespass

SEARCH WARRANT
Detective Sergeant Pellegrino, Sergeant Almer and Patrol Officer Madden assisted the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Bloomfield Police Department and in the execution of a search warrant.

Evidence related to the joint investigation was seized, and the required paperwork was provided to the resident.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Fairmont Road
business owner called to report a burglary.  Patrol Officer Gilligan responded to the initiate an investigation.

Patrol Officer Gilligan determined that nothing was taken and entry was not attempted, but items at the premises were damaged.  The investigation is continuing.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Burns arrested a 21 year old female resident of
Boonton, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Mount Olive Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $208.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and released to the Mount Olive Police Department as she was unable to post bail.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of
Long Valley, NJ reported that their vehicle was damaged while traveling on Naughright Road in the vicinity of Yorkshire Drive. 

Patrol Officer Brobst responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Brobst determined the windshield of the victim’s vehicle was broken, possible when an object from a passing vehicle struck the windshield.  The investigation is continuing.

HARASSMENT
A Parker Road resident called to report that they have been receiving harassing internet messages.  Patrol Officer Bigham responded to initiate an investigation.  Patrol Officer Bigham completed an initial investigation and advised the complainant what options were available, and the procedures involved, to end the harassment.

THEFT
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A Long Hill Road
resident reported that a sign was removed from the mail box post, and the mailbox was damaged.  Patrol Officer Rady responded and initiated an investigation. 

The owner described the engraved sign as containing a caricature of an angel and the words “guardian Angel” inscribed .  The value of the sign was not immediately available.  Patrol Officer Rady reported additional mailboxes in the neighborhood were damaged. 

The investigation is continuing, and the Washington Township Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in locating the property, or providing information leading to the recovery of the property

A resident of
Knob Hill Road reported that an individual attempted to damage their mailbox.

Patrol Officer Rady responded and initiated an investigation.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
The Pleasant Grove Road resident who reported a disturbance at their residence at
1:43 AM reported the offender returned at 5:25 AM.

Corporal Carvino assisted initiated an investigation.  Corporal Carvino determined items in the house were damaged and the resident wished to sign complaints.  Corporal Carvino advised the victim of their rights, and the procedure to sign a complaint and additionally made other appropriate recommendations.

ASSAULT
A Pleasant Grove Road resident reported a disturbance at their residence.  Corporal Carvino assisted by Patrol Officer Madden responded to initiate an investigation.

Corporal Carvino determined a guest threatened and assaulted a resident.  The resident stated that they did not want to press charges against the offender.  Corporal Carvino advised the victim of their rights, and the procedure to sign a complaint and additionally made other appropriate recommendations. 

Patrol Officer Madden drove the offender to their residence.  At 5:15 PM the resident reported that earlier in the day, the offender returned to the premises   Corporal Carvino advised the victim of the procedure to sign a complaint against the offender.

DISTURBANCE
Patrol Officers Leonardi, assisted by Sergeant Almer, investigated a disturbance after a resident dialed 911. 

Patrol Officer Leonardi initiated an investigation and determined the incident was not a domestic violence incident.  Patrol Officer Leonardi made appropriate referrals and advised the victim of the procedure to sign a complaint against the offender.

A resident reported that they were having difficulty with a civil family order dealing with visitation times of their child.  Patrol Officer Falleni initiated an investigation.  The resident was provided with the appropriate referrals.

FAMILY MATTER (Custody Dispute)

A resident reported that they were having difficulty with a locating their child in accordance with a civil family order dealing with visitation times.  Patrol Officer Gilligan initiated an investigation and documented the facts as presented by the complainant.  The resident was advised to contact their attorney, and was provided with the appropriate referrals.
