A resident of
North
Mount Lebanon Road
reported that their 1994
Toyota
pickup was damaged at in front of their residence. Patrol Officer
Oranchak responded and initiated an investigation. . Patrol Officer
Oranchak determined the windshield, the driver’s side window and the
driver’s side rear window were deliberately broken.

Officer Bigham investigated a report of an assault after an individual
called Headquarters to report a family dispute.
Patrol
Officer Bigham initiated an investigation and determined that two family
members entered into a disagreement. Patrol Officer Bigham advised the
victim of the procedure to sign a complaint against the offender.

An employee of the Long Valley Pub called to report that they were
harassed by an individual. Patrol Officer Oranchak initiated an
investigation. Patrol Officer Oranchak, with the assistance of Sergeant
Compton, identified and spoke with the individual. Patrol Officer
Oranchak advised the complainant what options were available, and the
procedures involved, to sign a complaint.

Patrol
Officers Bigham investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence after
a resident came to Headquarters.
Patrol
Officer Bigham initiated an investigation and determined an arrest was
not required.
The
individual was
advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s
rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to
apply for a Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Order( TRO). The
individual declined the opportunity to obtain a TRO. Patrol Officer
Bigham additionally made appropriate referrals and forwarded the results
of his investigation to the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office

Corporal Szymanski investigated a possible case of Domestic Violence
after a resident called Headquarters.
Corporal Szymanski initiated an investigation and determined an arrest
was not required. Both individuals
were
advised of their rights, provided with documents related to victim’s
rights under the Domestic Violence Act, and offered an opportunity to

A Route 46 business called on 911 to report a problem with a customer.
Patrol Officer Bigham responded to initiate an investigation. Patrol

the business came to an agreement, and indicated their only interest was

individual was not on the property upon the arrival of Patrol Officer

a complaint against the offender for criminal trespass

WARRANT
Detective Sergeant Pellegrino, Sergeant Almer and Patrol Officer Madden
assisted the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, the Essex County
Prosecutor’s Office and the Bloomfield Police Department and in the
execution of a search warrant.
Evidence related to the joint investigation was seized, and the required
paperwork was provided to the resident.

business owner called to report a burglary. Patrol Officer Gilligan
responded to the initiate an investigation.
Patrol
Officer Gilligan determined that nothing was taken and entry was not
attempted, but items at the premises were damaged. The investigation is
continuing.

ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Burns arrested a 21 year old female resident of
Boonton, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Mount Olive
Municipal Court. Bail on the warrant was set at $208. The individual
was transported to Headquarters, processed and released to the Mount
Olive Police Department as she was unable to post bail.

A resident of
Long
Valley,
NJ reported that their vehicle was damaged while traveling on Naughright
Road in the vicinity of Yorkshire Drive.
Patrol
Officer Brobst responded and initiated an investigation. Patrol Officer
Brobst determined the windshield of the victim’s vehicle was broken,
possible when an object from a passing vehicle struck the windshield.
The investigation is continuing.

harassing internet messages. Patrol Officer Bigham responded to
initiate an investigation. Patrol Officer Bigham completed an initial
investigation and advised the complainant what options were available,
and the procedures involved, to end the harassment.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A Long Hill Road
resident reported that a sign was removed from the mail box post, and
the mailbox was damaged. Patrol Officer Rady responded and initiated an
investigation.
The
owner described the engraved sign as containing a caricature of an angel
and the words “guardian Angel” inscribed . The value of the sign was
not immediately available. Patrol Officer Rady reported additional
mailboxes in the neighborhood were damaged.
The
investigation is continuing, and the Washington Township Police
Department is requesting the assistance of the public in locating the
property, or providing information leading to the recovery of the
property

resident wished to sign complaints. Corporal Carvino advised the victim
of their rights, and the procedure to sign a complaint and additionally
made other appropriate recommendations.

Corporal Carvino determined a guest threatened and assaulted a
resident. The resident stated that they did not want to press charges
against the offender. Corporal Carvino advised the victim of their
rights, and the procedure to sign a complaint and additionally made
other appropriate recommendations.
Patrol
Officer Madden drove the offender to their residence. At 5:15 PM the
resident reported that earlier in the day, the offender returned to the
premises Corporal Carvino advised the victim of the procedure to sign
a complaint against the offender.

disturbance after a resident dialed 911.
Patrol
Officer Leonardi initiated an investigation and determined the incident
was not a domestic violence incident. Patrol Officer Leonardi made
appropriate referrals and advised the victim of the procedure to sign a
complaint against the offender.
