LOST PROPERTY
A Drakestown Road
resident reported that a license plate, NJ registration PJW-50W, was lost.  Sergeant Compton completed a report, and advised the owner to notify the police department when he remaining plate was turned in to Motor Vehicle Services, so the plate could be entered into the NCIC system as missing.

PATROL ARREST (DWI)
Patrol Officer Bigham, assisted by Sergeant Adams, arrested a 37 year old male resident of
East Hanover, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on Schooley’s Mountain Road.  The vehicle was impounded in accordance with “Johns Law” and the defendant was transported to Police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing

The driver was additionally charged with reckless driving, and failure to keep right.  The subject was released to a responsible party

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of
Long Valley, NJ reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked on Bartley Road.  Patrol Officer Oranchak responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Oranchak determined the driver’s window of a 1996 Ford pickup was deliberately broken.

STRUCTURE FIRE
A Sky Top Road resident reported their residence was on fire.  Patrol Officer Oranchak, assisted by Sergeant Compton, responded to initiate an investigation.  The Long Valley Fire Company, the Schooley’s Mountain Fire Protection Association, the  Fairmount Fire Company, and the Long Valley First Aid Squad, assisted by the Chester Boro and Budd Lake Fire Departments responded to extinguish the fire.  Patrol Officer Oranchak determined the fire started as a result of heat produced by a wood stove. 

The investigation was turned over to Detective Corporal Micco of the Washington Township Police Department, and is continuing.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Brobst arrested a 26 year old female resident of
Edison, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Washington Township Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $1,500.  The individual was transported from the Lincoln Tunnel Port Authority Police facility of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, processed and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility, as she was unable to post bail.

THEFT
A Sierra Drive resident reported an animal cage was stolen from their open garage.  Patrol Officer Gilligan initiated an investigation.  The resident stated the cage was taken sometime between 5:30 and
10:15 PM.  The cage is valued at $80.00.

The investigation is continuing

FRAUD
A Long Valley, NJ resident came to Headquarters to report a debit card fraud.  Patrol Officer Gilligan initiated an investigation.  The resident stated unauthorized charges were made on their debit card.  The resident reported they notified Fleet Bank, the holder of the account.  The resident indicated the unauthorized charges totaled over $4,600.00.  The investigation is continuing.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Gilligan arrested a 23 year old male resident of
Randolph, NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Dover Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $832.  The individual was transported to Headquarters, processed and turned over to the custody of the Dover Police Department as he was unable to post bail.

SHOPLIFTING
A Route 46 business owner reported that the business was the victim of a shoplifting.  Patrol Officer Burns responded to initiate an investigation.  Patrol Officer Burns determined the total value of the merchandise taken was $260.00.  The continuing investigation was turned over to the Detective Bureau..

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of
Long Valley, NJ reported that their vehicle was damaged while parked on Williams Way.  Patrol Officer Burns responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Burns determined the driver’s side their Acura was dented.

HARASSMENT
Police Headquarters received a report of individuals shooting BB’s” from a moving vehicle on Schooley’s Mountain Road.  Patrol Officer Bigham responded to initiate an investigation.  Patrol Officer Bigham located the vehicle in question and recovered three weapons. 

Patrol Officer Bigham arrested an 18 year old male resident of Long Valley and three juveniles on Alarming the Public and Possession of Imitation Firearms charges, after consultation with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.  The 18 year old was released in his own recognizance, and the juveniles were released to their parents.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Mount Olive Township reported that an unoccupied school bus was damaged while proceeding on Flocktown Road.  Patrol Officer Oranchak responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Oranchak determined the right side passenger door window was shattered by an object.  Patrol Officer Oranchak additionally determined at approximately the same time a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction had the driver’s door window shattered.  The investigation is continuing.

PATROL ARREST (Violation of a FRO)
Sergeant Adams charged a 31 year old male resident of Glassboro, NJ for violation of a Final Restraining Order (FRO), after initiating an investigation .  Washington Township Municipal Court Judge Leanza was contacted and determined there was probable cause for the issuance of a warrant.  A Superior Court Judge issued a warrant for the violation.  The defendant was transported to Police Headquarters for processing, and was released on $5,000 bail pending adjudication.

PATROL ARREST (Warrant)
Patrol Officer Allen arrested a 30 year old male resident of Washington Borough (Warren), NJ on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Washington Township Municipal Court.  Bail on the warrant was set at $1,500.  The individual was transported from the Warren County Jail, processed and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility, as he was unable to post bail.

Patrol Officer Allen arrested a 41 year old male resident of Hackettstown, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) on
Naughright Road.  The vehicle was impounded in accordance with “Johns Law” and the defendant was transported to Police Headquarters for a breathalyzer test and processing

The driver was additionally charged with Speeding and Careless Driving.  The subject was released to a responsible party.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
A resident of
Janet Drive, reported several realty signs were placed on the front lawn, and two decorative statues were turned over.  Patrol Officer Falleni responded and initiated an investigation.  Patrol Officer Falleni determined the two decorative statues were turned over in the past.  The investigation is continuing.
