Wal-Mart Presents Checks
Wal-Mart's Good Works Program presents Checks to
Local Community Organizations and Schools

The Mansfield Wal-Mart was the setting for a series of presentations of checks to a number of local community organizations.  Mansfield Wal-Mart manager Kim Barrows and Tracy Tobin, Community Event Coordinator, through the Wal-Mart "Good Works" Foundation, presented the Long Valley Middle School Superintendent Dr. Gerald Vernotica with a $1,250 check.  Tri-County Fire Company Fire Chief Dave Schaeffer was presented with a $1,000 check.  The Warren County Vocational School received a check for $1,000.

Kim Barrows and Tracy Tobin presented Sgt. M Niemynski of the Washington Township Community Policing Unit with a $500. Sgt. Niemynski said that the donation will be earmarked towards community based programs involving Washington Township's senior citizens.
