On June 22, 2010 road construction will begin on Newburgh Road.

The construction is schedule to start at 7:30 AM and end at 4:30 PM. During these hours of construction Newburgh Road will be closed at both ends. Only residents and employees of business located on this roadway will be allowed to travel Newburgh Road during the closure. A police officer will be stationed at both closures during the construction hours.

The project will consist of milling and paving, the road improvement project is set to last three weeks. Motorists should plan an alternate route and expect large amount of congestion in these areas. The project is being completed by Tilcon Construction – 625 Mt. Hope Road Wharton, NJ.
